Porsches and Pastries 3 + Show ‘n Shine 2 and Concours 2

- Mark your calendar now – the Porsches and Pastries 3 and Show ’n Shine 2 & Concours 2 events will be held at The Promenade Bolingbrook on Saturday, June 6!
- Bring the family to enjoy viewing all the Porsches and socializing with your friends to catch up on club activities.
- The Show ‘n Shine and Concours will be held on Sandberg Way (same street as in the past, but this year we will be on the Macy’s end of the street, so look for our signs).
- Food:
- We are pleased that K9s for Veterans, located just down from Macy’s, will be selling coffee and pastries.
- Please come out and support this organization!
- Other restaurants:
- Starbucks in Macy’s
- Barnes & Noble Café
- Ted’s Montana Grill
- The Mago Grill & Cantina (Mexican food)
- Parking:
- There will be special parking for Concours and Show ‘n Shine participants.
- There should be an area for socializing participants as well.
- Look for the signs when you arrive!!

- Next to K9s for Veterans
- Signing up your car:
- We would like to encourage you to sign up for our Show ‘n Shine competition.
- All you need to do is clean the outside of your Porsche (body, glass, wheels & tires) and you are ready to participate.
- Judging is simple and based on the cleanliness only of the exterior of your car.
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded in all Show ‘n Shine groups.
- All attendees can vote for the People’s Choice Award.
- Every level is welcome.
- If you have never participated in Concours before, this fun and informal Show ‘n Shine event is a great way to learn the ins and outs of Concours.

- Step up to Concours.
- Our Concours competition consists of three classes, all judged based on the Cleanliness and Condition of the car.
- Concours has three separate competitive classes where additional areas of the car are judged for cleanliness and condition.
- In order from bottom to top:
- Street Class: Exterior and Interior
- Touring Class: Exterior, Interior and Storage
- Grand Touring Class: Exterior, Interior, Storage, Engine or Chassis
- These classes are a pathway to help you best learn about the preparation and preservation of your Porsche for competition at the Regional Level or at the National Porsche Parade.
- The Concours will be held on Sandberg Way, between Hemingway Trail and Brooks Lane.
- All other cars on display are encouraged to donate $10 to the club charity and be eligible to win one of the raffle prizes at the end of the Concours.
- Schedule for Show ‘n Shine and Concours:
- Registration opens at 10:00am
- Register by 11:00am
- Judges’ meeting at 11:15am
- Judging begins at 11:30am
- Awards at 1:00 pm. – 1:30 pm
