K9s for Veterans Opening Outlet Store in The Promenade Bolingbrook
Proceeds to benefit services for local veterans
BOLINGBROOK, IL – An exciting new store, exclusive to the market, is set to open at The Promenade Bolingbrook. K9s for Veterans will open the retail outlet on September 1st extending a warm invitation to the public. All proceeds will be directed towards funding programs tailored to assist veterans in their transition back to civilian life.
This store will offer a wide array of products including home décor, clothing, health, and beauty items, as well as pet supplies, all available at discounted prices. The inventory will be consistently refreshed with a captivating selection of distinctive and unique products.
Located on the west side of the shopping center, just off Sandburg Way, the K9s for Veterans store aims to provide a convenient and accessible shopping experience. The store’s operating hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., ensuring ample opportunities for customers to explore its offerings.

The K9 for Veterans mission is to connect veterans with post-traumatic stress disorders with trained service dogs. The program works exclusively with dogs from kill shelters. Founder and CEO Michael Tellerino said this is a life saving program on many levels.
“This approach truly epitomizes the question of ‘who rescued who’?” Tellerino said. “Dogs embody true unconditional love. The bond that is created between these veterans and their service dogs is immeasurable. We are saving dogs and veterans with this program.”
