Health and Wellness Checks for Community Members Age 60+

BOLINGBROOK, IL – MAY 30, 2018  – For more than 50 years, Senior Services of Will County has connected older adults to resources, information, services and programs so that they might live safe, healthy and independent lives. Through The Promenade Bolingbrook’s partnership with Senior Services of Will County, The Promenade is welcoming community members over 60 to a program called Learning My Options Health & Wellness Checks.

The event will take place on Monday, June 4, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and includes breakfast and lunch, raffle prizes, as well as time to network. Senior Services of Will County will provide screenings for hearing, vision, respiratory, blood pressure, blood sugar and balance. Seniors will also have a chance to learn about area resources and screening opportunities that are available to them and to discover more about Promenade’s events, community spaces, and places throughout the property where friends are encouraged to gather and spend time.
