The Promenade Bolingbrook to Host Sale to Benefit K9s for Veterans
Bolingbrook, IL (March 13, 2023) – For the second year, The Promenade Bolingbrook will host a home goods sale to benefit K9s for Veterans. The mission of the non-profit organization is to help veterans with post traumatic stress disorder transition back to civilian life once their military service has ended with the help of trained service dogs.
The sale will be held at The Promenade Bolingbrook on March 24, 25 and 26 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at the former Hallmark store located on Hemingway Trail, across from Barnes and Noble. The store will feature new and display items from the recent Inspired Home Show, the world’s leading home + Housewares show. McCormick Place in Chicago hosted the sale in early March and the exhibiting companies at the show donated the items. Houseware items will be available at up to 70 percent off the retail price, including new housewares products from all over the world.
“This is such an important program, and The Promenade Bolingbrook is proud to partner with K9 for Veterans and provide space to host this sale,” said Steve Yee, general manager of The Promenade Bolingbrook. “K9 for Veterans provides training, free food and basic medical care for the entire life of these service dogs. The program exclusively trains dogs rescued from kill shelters which doubles the impact of this program.”
